本稿は,クッキー上に視点位置に依存して情報切り替え可能な見た目を作り出す手法を提案する.クッキー生地上に斜めから穴を空けることで,特定の角度からしか見えない影が生じる.これによってユーザの視点位置に応じて異なる見た目を作ることができる.システムはユーザが提示する画像を入力するソフトウェアと,実際にクッキー生地上に物理的に穴を空けるハードウェアから構成される.実験として,焼時間や穴の深さ,方位角の変化によって調査した.さらに,実際に製作したクッキーとその使用例を示す.

In this paper, we propose a fabrication approach to transform edible cookies into information displays. The proposed approach encodes the surface of cookie dough so that the displayed information can be changed with the user's perspective. We use a computational design approach where small holes are pocked into cookie dough at specific angles to create shapes that are only visible from a given angle. This approach allows for selective switching of information depending on the viewer's perspective. Our contributions include a software tool that converts images to poking patterns and a computer-aided poking machine to automatically transfer the patterns onto cookie dough. Furthermore, we demonstrate the results of visualizing information on cookies.
