不適切なあやし動作は子どもの心身の健康や安全への影響や親子間の愛着つまり絆や感情的な繋がりの形成に影響を及ぼす.よって,養育者が適切なあやし動作を習得することは重要である.本研究では,スマートフォンを用いて専門家による新生児あやし動作の習得を支援するシステムを提案する.スマートフォンをぬいぐるみに取り付けて動きを評価し,フィードバックを返す.提案システムを評価するため,異なる学習方法の2群での学習前後のデータを比較した.その結果,システムは,傾斜角つまり新生児の抱える際の頭の持ち上げる角度をトレーニングするのに効果的であった.
Inappropriate soothing motions can negatively im- pact the physical and socio-emotional health of infants and the formation of attachment—that is, bonding—between caregivers and children. Thus, it is important for caregivers to learn soothing motions expertise. In this study, we propose a system that supports the learning of neonatal soothing motions using a smartphone. A smartphone is attached to a stuffed animal to evaluate its movement and provide feedback accordingly. To evaluate the proposed system, we assessed the effectiveness of the system using two groups, Video and Video + System, with different learning methods. The result shows that this system is effective in teaching the correct inclination angle—that is, the angle used to rotate the head up around the chest of the neonate from a ground-parallel position.
